StarFire EMS offers CPR training with American Heart Association CPR instructors. We are a Training Site affiliated with the Merrimack Valley Training Center.
This course covers grief, emotional trauma, stress/PTSD, etc. for the responder. Join us for a two-day presentation by Sarah Mielke, BA, BS, NRP, firefighter/paramedic, author, founder of Seriah LLC as she walks us through a new way of thinking about these issues.

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider course meets/exceeds requirements for EMTs, paramedics, day care providers, home health aides, etc. for CPR certification.
Program dates: EVERY Tuesday evening! Session starts at 6:00 p.m.
Complete the classroom portion of the Healthcare Provider CPR course on-line at the American Heart Assocation site - www.onlineaha.org (approximately $30.00, payable on-line). Select the Healthcare Provider course from the courses in the Course Catalog. Print out the course completion certificate.
Once you have completed the on-line program AND printed the completion certificate, call StarFire EMS or e-mail us to make sure we have a skills evaluator available on the Tuesday night you select to complete the practical skills component of the program.

Cardiac arrest in infants and children does not usually result from a primary cardiac cause. More often it is the result of progressive respiratory failure or shock. Recognition and treatment of respiratory failure/arrest can delay or prevent cardiac arrest. Complete this course and you will be properly prepared to treat infants and children in cardiac arrest.
